Lloyd C. Berger, SIOR founded Berger Commercial Realty in 1998 to provide a uniquely client-centric approach to commercial real estate brokerage and management. For more than 26 years, he has directed the firm’s growth and earned its ranking among the top commercial brokerage and management firms in Florida.

Mr. Berger has built a team of like-minded real estate professionals with extensive market knowledge who share his commitment to superior client service and innovative thinking. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed receiver for more than 150 distressed properties throughout the state of Florida.

An active participant in Florida’s commercial real estate industry, Mr. Berger is a member of the board of directors of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), and an alumnus of Leadership Broward Class XI. He is also a designated Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR).

Education

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rollins College and a master’s degree in real estate development from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.

Michael Feuerman, Esq., SIOR, CCIM, is the Managing Director of the firm’s Palm Beach County office, and Tenant Representation Specialist for South Florida. Feuerman specializes in providing strategic commercial tenant representation services including site selection, lease negotiations, subleasing, and owner-user purchase and sale representation.

Recognized for his expertise in office leasing and corporate real estate strategy, Michael Feuerman offers a unique blend of legal and brokerage experience, delivering value to clients throughout South Florida’s commercial real estate market.

A native Floridian and resident of Boca Raton, Michael is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the state of Florida. He joined Berger Commercial Realty from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as a director of office tenant representation.

Previously, he was a principal of Lehrer & Feuerman, LLC, a commercial tenant representation boutique firm, a role he held for nearly ten years. This followed his career in law where Michael Feuerman practiced as a business trial attorney, managing contract and real estate related disputes for six years.

He holds a law degree from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and has maintained his Florida Bar license since 1993.

He has also earned both the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) designation – held by less than 2.5% of the world’s commercial brokers – and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) accreditation – held by less than 6% of the world’s commercial brokers.

R. Stephen Hyatt

Professional Experience

Steve Hyatt joined Berger Commercial Realty Corp. in 2009 as Senior Vice President. He is primarily responsible for investment sales, land brokerage, and acquisition/disposition services for both corporate clients and private investors. Steve has extensive transaction experience in landlord and tenant representation, as well as build-to-suit and speculative project development. These combined skills allow him to play a key role in the successful valuation, positioning and marketing of multiple assets on behalf of national and local clients.

A native of South Florida, Steve has strong market knowledge and executive level contacts in the real estate, banking and automotive industries. Prior to joining Berger Commercial Realty, he was Vice President of Corporate Development at AutoNation, Inc., a Fortune 500 automotive retailer based in Fort Lauderdale. At AutoNation, Steve was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of more than 175 automobile dealerships in 17 states with an aggregate purchase price in excess of $3 billion. Steve has held senior executive positions in brokerage, development and asset management for well-known commercial real estate companies such as Stiles Corporation and The Galbreath Company (now Jones Lang LaSalle). He began his career with Coldwell Banker Commercial Group (now CBRE) in 1985.

Brian Batchelder

Brian Batchelder joined Berger Commercial Realty Corp in 2018 as Vice President. Tim Hackett

Tim Hackett joined Berger Commercial Realty Corp. in July 2008, as a Senior Property Manager. Tim began his commercial real estate career with Sentinel Real Estate located in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 as a Property Manager. In 2000 Tim joined Urban Retail Properties as a Senior Property Manager with direct oversight of five community centers. Mr. Hackett has more than 22 years of experience in the real estate management field with multi-functional expertise in project management, tenant relations and expenditure management. His clients include Institutions, Private Investors, Receivers, REITs and Limited Partnerships.

Gina Yehuda

Gina Yehuda joined Berger Commercial Realty Corp. in June, 2002 as a Vice President of Property Management specializing in government contract related projects. She brings to the firm extensive lease transaction experience in analysing significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies. Through her exceptional experience and skill she develops negotiation strategies and leads negotiation teams on complex projects, procurements and contracts in challenging environments. Drafts and prepares final contract documents.

Ms. Yehuda has over twenty years experience in the real estate management field with multi-functional expertise in managing costs, meeting contract schedule as well as managing risk, performance, quality, profit project management, tenant relations and expenditure management.

Ms. Yehuda’s breadth of experience and expertise allows her to provide construction management skills to our commercial and institutional clients. Ms. Yehuda has contracted for and supervised the design and construction of tenant improvements/renovations to accommodate tenants/agencies such as the Department of Revenue, Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Health, Army Corps of Engineers, USDA and the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles. Her extensive experience involves a broad area to include brand management and redevelopment projects among other business qualifications within the industry. Cecilia’s portfolio management experience also encompasses retail plazas, office buildings and industrial warehouses in the U.S. as well as Regional, Luxury, and Lifestyle (Mixed-use & Office) Shopping Centers within the U.S. and Canada.
