Berger Commercial Realty Welcomes Two New Hires At Headquarter Office in Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Zain Zakeria has been hired as Senior Property Accountant at Berger Commercial Realty. In this role, he will be leading the management of the full cycle of accounting for 1,600 units across 8 properties. Prior to joining BCRC, Zakeria worked for Oceanside resorts in Miami, Florida where he served as Senior Property Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting, at Florida Atlantic University. Outside of work, Zakeria plays in the South Florida Cricket League and has represented Team Florida in regional tournaments.

Vanessa De Pena was recently hired as the Assistant Property Manager at BCRC. In her role as APM, she will support the property management team in overseeing over 3MM square feet of commercial properties throughout Broward County. Prior to joining BCRC De Pena served as client service coordinator for CBRE. She earned her Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University. De Pena also holds an active Florida Real Estate License.
