Michele Carrasco to oversee HR across the firm’s three offices
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (August 5, 2015) – Berger Commercial Realty, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in South Florida, announced that Michele Carrasco has joined the team as human resources manager. With more than 20 years of senior-level human resources experience, Carrasco joins Berger Commercial from Allegiance Home Health in Boca Raton, where she was director of HR. Previously, she held human resources managerial positions in Colorado at ADP TotalSource and the Embassy Suites Hotel. Fluent in English and Spanish, Carrasco began her career in HR in 1994 as an administrator of fleet personnel for Renaissance Cruises. In her new position as human resources manager at Berger Commercial Realty, Carrasco will oversee the administration of HR activities and protocols including recruitment, compensation, training, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance at the firm’s offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, and Palm Beach County. She will be based in Fort Lauderdale. “Michele’s position is an important addition to our organization,” said Berger Commercial Realty President Lloyd Berger. “Her diverse background and thorough knowledge of HR policies and protocols are an asset to our firm, and we are pleased to welcome Michele to our team.”Carrasco earned her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1989. She currently resides in Lighthouse Point.
