Intern Spotlight – Meet Our Summer Intern, Nicholas Reyes
Meet our Summer intern, Nicholas Reyes. He is a recent graduate from Florida International University with a major in Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate. He is thrilled to be gaining experience within the Commercial Real Estate industry, especially since his long-term career goal is to work in the field.
How did this opportunity with Berger Commercial Realty come about for you?
I first heard about Berger from a close family friend, Mauricio Dominguez. He knew that I had graduated and sent me the LinkedIn Post about the opportunity.
What was it that interested you in interning at Berger Commercial Realty?
After graduating from FIU, I knew that I wasn’t interested in going the residential route in real estate. So when I found out about this position, and that it was in the commercial field, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to learn and gain experience.
What do you expect to get out of this experience?
I am looking forward to learning about the intricacies of commercial real estate as well as more about the market and how it reacts to external variables.
What do you like most about interning at Berger?
So far, I have enjoyed all the different aspects of interning at Berger from inputting deals to the office environment. However, if I had to choose one aspect I really enjoy is going to showings with the team and meeting the other brokers and their clients. That for me has been the most exciting.
