Berger Commercial Realty Honored With Several Awards Recognizing Commercial Real Estate Success
The entire team at Berger Commercial Realty/TCN Worldwide is pleased to share that in the past few weeks, we have been honored with several awards as a leading commercial real estate firm in our market, with two of our distinguished team members, Joseph Byrnes and Steve Hyatt, receiving special recognition for their outstanding commercial real estate achievements.
CoStar Power Broker Awards
We recently received two CoStar Power Broker Awards for Top Leasing Firm in Broward County and Top Sales Firm in Broward County as a result of our volume of sales and leasing transactions in 2014. We have won these annual awards for eight years now and running!
In addition to our two firm-wide awards, Berger Commercial Vice President Joseph Byrnes also won the CoStar Top Retail Leasing Broker Award. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate and leasing assignments covering well over a million square-feet of office, industrial and retail space, it’s no wonder this is his sixth year winning a CoStar Power Broker Award!
CoStar is the largest provider of research, data, and analytics in the commercial real estate industry. The winners of the prestigious CoStar awards are determined by an annual tally of all commercial real estate transactions that took place during the previous year.
Top 10 TCN Member Deals
Each quarter, TCN Worldwide lists its Top 10 TCN Member Deals and recognizes the brokers who closed these transactions for their outstanding performance. With the February sale of 4.26 acres of land totaling $22 million, Berger Commercial Senior Vice President Steve Hyatt ranked number one this quarter for highest transaction value among all TCN members. The parcel of land, formerly known as Fort Lauderdale’s Ocean World, is being converted into a 394-unit apartment complex named Broadstone Harbor Beach. Read more about it here. Hyatt, who also has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, specializes in investment sales, land brokerage, and acquisition / disposition services for both corporate clients and private investors.
