Berger Commercial Realty Celebrates 15 Years of Service From Three Dedicated Team Members
Berger Commercial Realty would not be the organization it is today if weren’t for our dedicated and hard-working team members. We are pleased to announce that three individuals are celebrating their 15th anniversary with our organization. This is especially noteworthy as we approach our 18th anniversary! Lisa Bloom, Tom Freymuth, and Willie Swan have been a part of the Berger family from the start. We would like to sincerely thank these three talented individuals for their commitment to Berger Commercial Realty and extend our heartfelt congratulations on 15 years of accomplishments at our firm.
As a property controller with our company, Lisa Bloom is responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties that require a great deal of meticulousness to adhere to established policies and procedures. As the liaison between ownership and respective accounting professionals, she is responsible for multiple financial tasks, including forecasting yearly budgets and monthly cash requirements, generating monthly financial and tenant statements, overseeing receivable write-offs and payment reversals, calculating weekly bank balances, and much more. Lisa graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 1993 with a degree in accounting and later worked for Extended Stay America before joining the firm. She is undoubtedly an essential asset to Berger Commercial Realty and her hard work has been crucial to the functionality of our organization for the past fifteen years. Her sharp mind and aptitude for finance does not go unnoticed and we thank her for her many years of service.
Tom Freymuth also has been a key member of the Berger Commercial Realty team for the past 15 years. As a facility supervisor, he is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of several buildings and acts as the primary contact for any issues that might arise, including climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies, and repairs. Furthermore, Tom acts as a project coordinator for new construction, working closely with outside vendors and monitoring contractor performance to ensure project work is completed according to specifications, and he also assists the firm’s property management team in preparing annual operating budgets. His dedication to his job is evidenced by the fact that he responds immediately to emergencies on a 24-hour basis, allowing us to ensure building security for our clients. His high standards for building upkeep are evident in his commitment to diligently maintaining all aspects of the structures we manage. Our entire team commends Tom and thanks him for the multiple roles he plays within our organization. We are truly lucky to have him on our team.
With the numerous buildings we manage across the tri-county area, property care is vital. Willie Swan has proved his steadfastness in this area during the fifteen years he has worked at Berger Commercial Realty. Willie is an extraordinary maintenance technician, having consistently demonstrated his skills in repairs, pressure cleaning, painting, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and metal work. His record for maintaining each property by performing regular suite cleanings and inspections is impeccable. Willie takes pride in the work that he does and thanks to his dedication, the properties he maintains are immaculate and exceptionally operated for our tenants. Berger Commercial Realty is fortunate to have team member as dedicated as Willie with his incredible take-charge and follow-through attitude.
Since our establishment in 1998, our company has grown tremendously and has become one of South Florida’s premier commercial real estate firms. We currently lease and manage more than 7.2 million square-feet of space across 62 buildings in the tri-county area and have expanded to three offices across South Florida. These three individuals are representative of the many talented team members we have here at Berger Commercial Realty.
